U11 ‘A’ Rugby match against Grantham Prep

Copthill achieved a well deserved win in this match.  Improved tackling, great passing and direct, fast running was too much for the Grantham defence as we ran in seven tries.  Gabe Rudman scored four tries, Felix Clayton scored two and Toby Dalrymple forced his way over the line for one as well.  Copthill were very competitive at the breakdown and won a a great deal of turnover ball.  The extra possession Copthill achieved made it very difficult for Grantham to get into the game.

Gabe Rudman was Player of the Match and the team was ably captained by Freddie Gwinnett.  A similar performance next week against St Hugh’s will see us competing strongly for another win.
