U11c Netball v Stamford Wed 24th Feb 2016

The under 11c netball team had an exhilarating game against Stamford Junior School. The ball was not particularly dominated by either side, with plenty of action at both the attacking and defending ends. The Junior School however, despite our rigorous marking and defending skills, managed to score more goals than us. They never seemed to miss the goal when they managed to enter their attacking circle.

The score was a very respectable 5-3 in Stamford’s favour up until the third quarter, with neither side scoring in this ten minute window. However, Stamford snuck in three goals to our one in the final ten quarter, making the overall score 8 goals to Stamford and 3 goals to Copthill.  The girls gave it one hundred percent, evidenced by their red faces when the final whistle was blown. Well done to everyone who played!
