U9 Netball v Stamford Junior School

The U9 blue team had a coaching game against Stamford Junior School.  The game gave the girls the opportunity to experience match play against another school, whilst using the opportunity to coach the girls through the rules and skills that they have been learning over the past year season. The girls entered into the spirit of the game and their confidence improved with each subsequent quarter.

Despite the score of 5 – 0 goals to Stamford, the score did not reflect dominance of the ball to Stamford.  Both teams possessed the ball for a fairly even amount of time. Stamford were however, very strong with their goal accuracy. Our girls remained positive and played competitively to the end, which was pleasing to see.
