U11B Netball v Stamford Wed 24th Feb 2016

The girls worked hard in their match against Stamford this afternoon.  Stamford were quick to start the game with 3 goals in close succession.  This forced Copthill girls to step their game up and towards the end of the first quarter Copthill were fighting back and the score was 6-3 to Stamford.  Copthill continued to show determination throughout the game and closed the score gap effectively.  Unfortunately in the last quarter when tiredness was setting in, Copthill were unable to equalise or take the lead.  A great game with Player of the Match awarded to Kiara Mashru for some super interceptions.  Well done girls.
